  1. Going to ask here since I feel kind of lost on who to focus on leveling since it's such a difficult thing in this game.

I know from reading on here that my 4 Star SR girls are going to outclass my 0 zero star UR and even my 1 star SSR. So the first SR girl I got I started feeding exp cards and training her like there is no tommorrow, got her to 55. Honda Tadakatsu, I upgraded her from Ninja to Veteran Ninja and gave her my 1 star SSR gear to make her as strong as possible. Now...the problem I'm having is she performs about on par with my 1 Star SSR maxed out, Toyotomi Hideyoshi with weaker gear.

So I feel like I screwed up in picking Honda to max out just because she was my first 4 star SR. I have since got more SR 4 stars; Mori Ranmaru, Imagawa Yoshimoto, Shimazu Iehisa, Ishida Mitsunari and Mori Terumoto.

Since I finished Honda I'm moving on to one of these girls. Which is best or should I hold on for a even better SR?

Looking at them, even though I know I don't have a good graps on stats and battle in this game. It seems to me that Shimazu Iehisa going to be my next focus. Please, let me know if there is a better option of what I put or if I should just wait for key girls to get 4 starred.

While I do not consider myself an expert, I managed to get past the sr part of the game fairly quickly. The 4 star generals only outperform strong ssr or ur generals when you can give them really powerful gear that can not be equipped at lower levels. If you are using gear that is equippable by lvl 35 or 40's the ssr or ur will be generally stronger if they are powerful ones, since their skills increase their dmg by a lot more. This is especially true with tiger of kai, and sanada yukitaka and master strategist. Both of those generals do more dmg than any sr even if they r at lvl 55 and they are 35. I personally only leveled up generals in sr that had either regen like Naoe and sr nene or attack increase skills that I could inherit once I was able to. Using the very limited experience cards on generals with trash skills like Mori is going to slow your advance down greatly. I had more success using a bunch of 2 or 3 star ssr generals until I managed to get gear that was not equippable by them. The honda is a decent general to have leveled since it has the +defence and offense skill to inherit until you get to better generals. I found that regen is one of the most useful things early on in the game and allowed me to clear things much stronger than should have been possible, and takenaka is especially useful for pushing against units that should wipe you out by surviving being destroyed multiple rounds sometimes. Even a 0 star takenaka can make a better tank than most other generals until you get to better gear simply because he is hard to put down if u put him in the strongest lane of the enemy attack.

I forgot to reply to this part sorry. Out of the ones you mentioned the only ones with a decent skill is shimazu's first one. The other ones are really not worthwhile at all to me.

SR Honda is useful for a new player because it can be used as part of your main army and on the long run it can be used as an Inherit feed general (the Mikawa Spirit ability most especially if you would have a UR Tohsho or SSR Tokugawa for higher chances). I do have a level 55 SR Shimazu but I am using her as Inherit feed (the 0.5% damage per level bonus related skill).

Just do the dailies so that you would able to get silver and gold tickets. If lucky you might be able to get a UR or SSR general on the gold ticket summon XD

As SR generals go, Honda Tadakatsu is pretty good. You'll probably keep her for a long time for an inherited skill. I think the reason why she seems weak to you is that she's a veteran ninja, which really isn't a useful class. That's partially because the tier 3 classes are vastly weaker than the tier 4 classes, and partially because the ninja classes just aren't very good.

What do you think about changing the class. I haven't done that yet and I have a class change for every possible class in my inventory I think. Would it be worth going cavalry or infantry are those change items super rare and should be saved?

It depends on what your current troop faction is (temple or church). Because bonuses from troop type training research give a big help to your army. For temple, go for the offensive types (go for aoe type troops if possible) since SR Honda has atk and def boost from her first skill (elite marksman or elite black rider). If church, it can be elite artillery, elite samurai or elite swordsman. But it all depends to you XD

Don't forget to unlock and finish the hidden dungeons on chapter 1 and chapter 2 so that you would have extra or reserved troop types to consider once your army would change.

I personally like elite black riders and guards the best of all unit types. The guards for my defense general/s and black riders for the damage. Unless they get a bonus for a specific troop type like master strategist with archer. The guard has by far the best overall defense and the riders seem to do the most damage overall.

Class changes are cheap. You can get a first tier class change from the store for 500 kizuna. Kizuna is a little scarce early on when you're leveling lab skills, but I now have over 400k kizuna sitting there and not much to spend it on. Second tier class changes cost 30k copper from the store, so those are basically free. Third and fourth tier are a matter of, go to the level that drops them and beat that level until you get the one you want. Maybe you have to beat some random opponent 10 times to get the drop, but they generally come pretty quick.

Other than when you're very new to the game, there's little sense in using any generals who haven't been promoted to a fourth tier class. I wouldn't say it's cheap to switch classes back and forth at the drop of a hat, but getting a character to the class you want is fairly cheap.

One tip that I'd offer you is, if you get class change items in your mailbox, leave them in your mailbox until you're ready to use them. That way, you can keep them around and not waste inventory space.

If you go temple, the main classes are elite guard, elite black rider, and elite marksman. If you go church, the main classes are corsair, heavy artillery, and heavy knight. Or at least, that's about all that people use in PVP.

Personally, I've mostly moved away from tanking and healing, and instead rely on killing opponents before they get to attack. That's sometimes trouble when facing corsair-heavy opponents, but seems to be the optimal strategy in most places.

For example, in the current soul ticket event, I don't just beat the boss in one battle. I beat it in one round, and half of the time with only three of my generals having to attack before I've won. A tank and heal heavy approach might also beat the boss in one battle, but if it takes three or four rounds, then you fight massively fewer battles in the same amount of time unless you're burning fast battle tickets.
