Why i can't access to another level after i finished the "Dyone" Level on the story mode???

Trying out the game for the first time... just a couple questions.
Do characters drawn from the gacha have a starting cap of 3? I didn't see anything higher for a base level (I know you can upgrade but wondered if any units started at 4+)
Are there any general important things to know while getting started? Like the best way to use diamonds like in full premium draws or do step ups.

Yeah the highest you can get from gatcha is 3*. You have to slowly build up from there.

There's no really best way to use diamonds in premium draws. You just use it and pray you get something good. As a free user, I refrain from using Step-up or any new event girls. It's a diamond sinkhole. Getting shards for newly released girls will suck your pocket dry. You only need 3 girls for the entire game anyway. But if you really like the girl, then it's your decision.

Hmmm...
1) Do the Card Turning game on loading screen. Gives you some free diamonds.
2) Before you hit level 10, make sure you use the referral (in your personal menu, top-left corner of the screen) to receive some extra stuffs.
3) Buy the Respek Wamen pack as it is only 1 Nutaku gold and you can pick any 2* girls you want.
4) At the beginning, just follow the main storyline. Most functions would be unlocked at level 20. You'll probably need 1-2 days to reach if you don't want to spend a few hundred diamonds for AP.
5) Be careful when joining a League. If you stop contributing "Advanced Worship" you may get booted from the guild despite your previous contributions. Happened to me so I just created my own league and with only me and another member, we're nearing league level 5. So this is not a bad choice at all.

Thank you for all of those tips, it really helped me with my early game a lot.
A couple other questions I thought of was, is it difficult to collect every character in the game?
And are there characters that are flat bad to use or is everyone viable to an extent since you can raise their star level?
