2. Blessing Hare of Inaba

Hare of Inaba bestows good fortune. She is gentle, unpretentious and gullible. When she was badly injured, someone told her that salt water will heal her, so she jumped in the sea, only to make her wounds worse. Those wounds were covered after applying pollen of cattail plants. It seems to have healed but still causes her pain once in a while, so she carries cattails with her as an amulet.
