2. St. Elmo

St. Elmo is the patron saint of sailors. She appears on stormy nights to light the path to safety to prevent ships from sinking. St. Elmo wears a necklace called "Helena" which is the source of this light. It also has the ability to calm thunder clouds, and has been used to lead thousands of sailors to the safety of their homes. Despite her role, St. Elmo is terrible with directions. She often cannot figure out her way home to the heavens, and has to have the sailors drop her off at the nearest port after the storms have passed.
