Mirajo's appearance is based on the post-timeskip version of Boruto, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, having similar outfit except for the undershirt. He has black hair instead of blonde, also likely a reference towards Shoyu, a Naruto parody, but it seems the two have no familial relation in the game. His story is a mix of Boruto and Sarada, for the former, it's a reference to the first chapters of Two Blue Vortex where he returned to the village after three years but he is known so he's not exactly mysterious, and for the latter, is Sarada searching for her father's traces as she never seen Sasuke before, and thus has no memories of him.
