| "Get more XP, items, money, and kobans!" | Places of Power is a feature accessed through the Activities menu on the homepage that allows you to send out guys to run a mission to obtain 1 of a number of prizes.
Places of Power come in 2 forms: Permanent ones which can reward guys, and Temporary ones that are available for a limited time and only give items, gems and/or cash. |
| About: | Permanent vs Temporary:
There are 2 kinds of Places of Power that can appear which function fundamentally the same but do have a few key differences between them at the same time.
Permanent ones are unlocked after reaching certain milestones in Adventure with the mission's story blurb relating to a given world. After unlocking, these are available to permanently redo as many times as you desire to continually collect rewards from. The rewards are the same 4 between all of these kind with one of the available rewards being an exclusive guy. These must be upgraded at a cost of 600 kobans per level and cap out at level 10.
Temporary ones are only available for 7 days before a new set cycles in. There will always be 9 of these available at a given time. These unlock upon reaching world 4: Invaded Kingdom and will level based on your player level, capping at level 15 with 1 Place of Power level every 35 player levels. Each temporary Place of Power will only have a selection of game resources, usually 4 items available. They do not have any guys available to them.
Teams & Power:
To perform a mission, you must select a number of your guys from the panel on the right whose stats (corresponding to a given specialty for the mission) total up to a required Power level for the mission. You must have at least 5% of the total “Power Needed” to be able to start the mission, but having less than 100% will make the mission take longer to complete. The guys you send can either be selected manually, or you can hit a button to "Auto-Assign" a group of guys. With the maximum about of Power required, the mission will take 7 hours to complete or at only 5% Power, it'll take around 5 days and 19 hours. However, you can spend kobans relative to the remaining time to skip this timer and complete the mission right away.
Rewards:
Rewards differ between the two types of Places of Power, however the concept remains the same. Each time you complete a mission, you will receive one of the available rewards at random. These are displayed above the timer at the bottom of the menu.
For Permanent Places, these are always the same 4 types of possible rewards: Attraction points (or "shards") towards the exclusive guy shown on the left, Tickets to battle Champions, x1 Mythic Pachinko Orbs, or x10 Great Pachinko Orbs.
The amount of shards you collected for the guy is displayed under his image as well to show your progress toward recruiting him. Once you have obtained enough points to recruit him, he will leave the pool leaving only the other three rewards.
For Temporary Places, these will vary a bit more, typically including including cash, 1 type of Ascension Gem, a Legendary Magazine, and 1 item that varies depending on the type of Place. However 1 select type will instead offer only 2 kinds of Gems. Refer to the places as listed below to see more on which kind of Place gives which rewards.
For both types of places the quantity of the reward you receive will scale based on the level of the Place of Power.
Levels:
Each Place can be leveled, though the means to do such varies between the two types. This will affect the rewards you receive as well as increase the "Power Needed" to fill the bar, making it more difficult to fill at higher level. Raising a mission's level does not affect it's timer. It will still take 7 hours to complete if you completely fill the power bar, no matter what level you have unlocked.
For Permanent Places of Power, they can be leveled at a cost of 600 kobans per level, which can only be done while you don't have a mission running. At this cost, it will take 5,400 kobans to reach a mission's max level of 10. These are leveled independently, so this cost must be made per Place of Power to cap them all.
Leveling up affects the drops of Permanent Places as follows:

For Temporary Places, they level up collectively based on your Player level. They cannot be upgraded manually. These will gain 1 level for every 35 levels you gain. Similar to Permanent ones, this will affect the rewards. Refer to the individual places as listed below to see the breakdown of their rewards per level.
