Overview

Nanochips is the equipment that makes a not very useful unit into a useful one, and a good unit into a great one.

To equip a nanochip on a unit, visit the Hangar at the bottom of the main menu, and select the unit you would like to equip a nanochip on.

There is a storage limit of 100 for nanochips, of which reaching your limit will cause any new nanochip found to be stored in your inbox for up to 7 days. Equipping a nanochip on a unit free a slot in your nanochip storage.

Each unit can be equipped up to 6 nanochips of different types.

Types

There are 6 different types of nanochips, filling up a unit's slots as seen in the image to the right.

The outlining shape of a nanochip represents which type it is, and not the symbol it has (that is the type of set bonus it has)

Set Bonus

Every nanochip has a symbol in its center, indicating which type of set bonus it will give for every certain number of nanochips equipped on a unit with the same symbol.

These are the symbols with what type of set bonus is offered, when a specified number is equipped.

Leveling

Every nanochip starts from level 1, and can go up to level 15.

For each level-up, the main stat of the nanochip will increase by a fixed amount depending on the Rarity and Quality of a nanochip.

Once every 3 level-ups, the Quality of a nanochip will increase, unless it is already at maximum quality.

To level up a nanochip, go to the Hangar, select any unit to select their nanochips to access the Nanochip menu.

Leveling is chance-based, and has a cost in coins, determined by the rarity of a nanochip, for each attempt.

Stats

There are two types of nanochip stats, the main stat and the sub-stats.

The main stat increases for each level of a nanochip, while a new sub-stat is unlocked every 3 levels. A nanochip has up to 4 sub-stats, and can only increase in value if a nanochip started with a rarity above normal at level 1.
