The Akemi you get as drops from the Burning Forest are worthwhile to fuse with itself before using it as fusion material for your main cards. The drops are lvl 3 and fusing another lvl 3 Akemi gives you a lvl 6 Akemi. Double the fusion exp for only 300 coins.

Further, this opens another slot for fusing with your main cards, allowing you to do more fusing at a lower level (and cost).
