Elio is Supporter, Buffer class, so he'll spend most of his efforts on reinforcing your Attackers. Because he is a Buffer, you'll want to give him boots to make sure he precedes other characters and maximises the usefulness of his buffs.
His SR job comes with Boost Brave, which provides a nice Attack boost for your Attackers (for those who don't have SSR Nonno).
Because he's a man, it's easy to max his job evolutions and hence his HP and MP will be high.
