During a fight with enemies, a Gate appeared just as he was about to die from heavy injury and crossed into this world, escaping death. He then, with the Captain, took to the skies again.

Comments

Roche is a Supporter, Gunner sub-class, making him similar to the Attacker, Archer class. His high speed and multiple attack abilities makes it easy to set up overkill chains on stages.
Because he's a man, it's easy to max his job evolutions and hence his HP and MP will be high.
Fairly good for Trade, he has good Bargaining Power and is male meaning it's easy to get maximum Job level and therefore Bargaining Power.
Roche's Event SR Job, Drunken Fighter, possesses the ability to apply Dark Attribute to your entire team, which is not particularly easy to come by.
