For 2,5k points (less if you have saved up Gems ore buy them in bulk) you get 55 pulls at increased rates and a specific 6* on top of that, but offer lasts two weeks only and won't return ever/anytime soon. From pure value point of view it's definitely worth it.

And I just realised that all of sudden those 6k Gems for 3K Points deals are now way more appealing.

Well we dont know that. Its possible this is a new mechanic that will become a returning thing.
It seems DMM doesnt do a "one time only" things.
But yeah might be worth going for her just in case, though I am waiting for Wiki to update on her skill set.

Considering this new mechanic, depending on how much FGems you get, it might be better/worse then going for a 5K DMM Ticket gacha, if the featured 6* is up to your liking.
(Not counting the obvious benefit of getting equip slots unlocked, but thats mostly bigger spending territory).

Still. DMM devs never sieze to amaze me. Right now there are so many ways to get a 6*, many of which are free, its really showing the love for the community.
Wish I sat on my gem pile like a dragon, kinda envy those of you lads who have been abstaining from throwing them bones lately and have amased enough to buy your way to pretty much any of the future 6* you might wanna have :3

5,000 DMM points should net you 6400 flower stones if I got it right, so you will need 20,000 DMM points (25600 flower stones) for the rainbow bonus (which anyone can get for free if they save that many), which makes it pretty much a whale-only thing.

It should cost less if you have bought flower stones during shop promos (6000 flower stones for 3000 points). They rarely come around though. Don't forget bought [part of] flower stones will also expire after 180 days.

I decided to give that notice another read. Part of the notes is saying that "when the added character gacha [duration] ends, the draw counter will be reset," which appears to be hinting on this being a recurring thing. There was no mention of specific end dates in it, too.

We'll see in 2 weeks, but given YourGames, I don't think they just made this a one-time thing.

So, Snowflakes is the new 6* promotion girl. And she is interesting.
+30% DEF for all
+24% ATK for all
+15% ATK x pests on the field
-15% ATK for all enemies
-15% skill act for enemies

She looks good for a hard debuff team. Not the best girl but better than some of her promotions 4* mates

Guess I worded myself poorly. What I meant is "that specific rainbow for 5 rolls" deal won't return.
Guaranteed 6*'s are (probably) here to stay, but if you want to get Maid Cowslip - or any new rainbow - for 250 Gems, you only have two weeks during her event. When she comes back for reissue, she will be available in normal priority gacha - without increased rates for pulling 5/6* in general or a guaranteed rainbow.

And I also screwed up my math in my previous post. Feelsbad.

So a thought occoured to me during work today.

Due to the new 55X mechanic, if it is to stay, do you think the Devps will shift their current model, and start gem starving us ? Maybe not to the same level as Nutaku did, but certainly cutting down on the over abundance of FGems that we are so used to be getting.

What do you guys think ?

Though since they also added the FG shop, I don't think they'll be changing their practices.

They gave us another do things campaign with FG in it. And they gave us random FG for maintenance delay. So, I hope they will not change.
In one hand, this new gacha mechanics make 6* really easy to get for free player. In the other hand, it's so easy to get them that you could be tempted to spend a lot of FG on every event to taste the pleasure of a new 6*... and buy them when you ran out of FG. And in a third hand (don't ask me how I do), the 55x mechanics reset when you did 55 rolls and got the 6*. It's really easy to spend 1000 FG to get your favorite waifu full equipslot and skill. And then, you will need more FG for the nexts ones.

To say it in another way, free FG were a deep sea of salt and paid FG were even worse. I don't know for you guys but I NEVER wanted to buy FG (not ecause I'm 100% F2P but because it's just too unfair and a waste of money. Real salt is cheaper). Now, with enough FG (paid or not) you can get anything you want. It seems more woth it to buy FG if you are not patient when you know you will have your 6* at the end and it can motivate players to spend more money. Espacially whales.
