Thread: [Chat Chit] DMM FKG

Uh, guys. You know I still post on this forum. I only just pop in to this thread every now and then when something from DMM catches my eye and I can't go all spoilers on the usual places. If you're going to mention me, at least holler at me in one of the other threads (thanks HH). Having this huge conversation about me and not notifying me is kind of a dick move.

Granted, I'm partially to blame for only checking into this thread every couple of days/weeks/etc., but I also partially blame that on me not being able to browse this forum through my work laptop now (new job and all). Browsing large threads is significantly more tedious on mobile.

But yeah, me missing out on this conversation should speak volumes alone how much I usually don't give a shit about DMM's community. It was only that one instance, and the fact that they keep pretending that I'm somehow the troublemaker is quite grating.

Yes, I'm still temp-banned from Himeuta. I was bored/fed up enough with people like that dandan/Daniel guy badmouthing Nutaku even at the best of times ("$10 rainbow ticket? HAHA NUTAKU SUX"), so I decided to take things there.

If I could still post, I'd tell them that if they wanted to avoid drama, they probably shouldn't have let that poster (or whoever) go scot-free with that Agave pic, taking things to Discord, and saying shit along the lines of "lolol can't wait for Nutaku to close down". Yeah, because any Nutaku player is going to be pleased with that. And somehow *I'm* the one that threw a shitstorm?

Taon basically summed up the situation. People painted Nutaku in a bad light (while ignoring the steps they took to correct it), posted it in a primarily anti-Nutaku community (some people went further and posted it on Nutaku Discord to further amp the drama), then shut out any complaints that dare to clarify the inaccuracies. People like Mindrunner would call me a Nutaku white knight (P.S. shill is basically the same thing), but he's probably a bigger white knight for DMM than I am of Nutaku, especially since, as Taon pointed out, I do rightfully criticize Nutaku when they deserve it. Agave's deal wasn't one of those times, but someone just *had* to make a shitstorm out of it. Because god forbid Nutaku ever gets perks over the original, and fuck anyone who tries to point it out. That's how I see what happened in that thread.

(Also, what the fuck is the point of a "public" rep system if you're not allowed to talk about it? They should make that shit private for mod viewers only. Then at least only mods would have to figure out who has unpopular opinions vs. who's actually a troublesome poster. Otherwise, you essentially have Reddit lite, and people who disagree with you, but can't actually refute you simply resort to downvoting as a means to piss you off, without actually breaking the rules, while people who "retaliate" by pointing it out get banned. gg)

As a side note, defending Nutaku now would be a particularly inopportune time, given how badly they've dropped the ball on implementing bloom/blooming affection and other related bugs. But the people who would call me a "white knight" would think I'd defend Nutaku's shoddy handling or (current) piss-poor compensation. I don't. Seeing as they still have to actually fix shit, however, I'm just choosing to keep my criticisms light until they have a better handling on the situation (well, that, and I'm incredibly sleep-deprived/juggling three other mobage at once, so I don't have the energy to spare anyway). Or if enough time has passed and nothing changes. But Nutaku FKG hasn't let me down that hard before. No reason to start now.

I'm sure DMM players are laughing their asses off right now at the dumpster fire that is Nutaku atm. That's fine. I don't blame them. Fuck, if I wasn't a part of this, I'd even join them. But if they decide to pull another Agave-like stunt, bring it here or Discord, and purposely taunt Nutaku players? Yeah, then we have another shitstorm. *That's* the reason for the first shitstorm. How you see me as a poster has nothing to do with what some DMM players like to instigate for drama.

To whoever has Himeuta connections, feel free to pass this post along to them. Or maybe they'll read it themselves. Fuck if I know or care. But if they don't want me posting there, they'd better get the record straight here. Frankly, in light of the above, the temp-ban was a pretty bullshit excuse to shut me down, anyway.
