Can someone explain what the deal with Spring Starflower is? Why does she want to kill the Knight Commander? Will this be revealed in another story? Or did i miss something?

The exact reason(s) didn't come up during the event story so I'm guessing it'll be a mystery until Starflower's CSQ is released over here.

Pests killed her parents and she blamed you and was going to kill you for it, but then found out that you weren't there that day and you showed proof. Look out for the ones that were there!
I got her maid form on DMM and she is an excellent 5* the best gold filler girl in the game IMO fits in anywhere on a team and has skill act and skill damage boost
