It's like people see in Hercules just her DEF down and nuke. While I do agree that not using her Axe is basically not using her to full potential, I feel the need to remind people about her other aspects:
Ability 2: +30% ATK, +20% double attack rate, +15% triple attack rate, +30% burst gauge gained to self for 5 turns (7 turns cooldown for Herc)
Ability 3: +30% DEF, 30% reflect, some affliction resist, 300 regen every turn to self for 5 turns (7 turns cooldown for Herc)
Assist 1: Some ATK up (probably something like 5% or 8%, nothing really important)
Assist 2: -1 turn cooldown for abilities (including EX ability)
What do we make of it ?
First: she's fast. Not Shingen fast, but fast nevertheless. With team with Thanatos and Osiris you'll need some faster Soul (Shingen, Morgan, Herc or Arthur), if you don't want to end in situation when team is ready for Full Burst, but Soul still is sitting at 70 or 80 BG.
Second: She's tanky. When under buffs from third ability, she recieves about 45-46% less damage than other unbuffed Souls (depends on how much Master DEF bonus you have), also makes stacking damage cuts on her easier. When light rag starts deleting party members, there's a much higher chance that Herc will live when hit (at least through one nuke).
Third: Her second is helpful in some situations (having 5 turns cooldown for Sniper Shot instead of 6 turns makes GO run more smoothly for me) and has some rather niche, but powerful uses (3 turns cooldown for cleanse instead of 4, 4 turns cooldown for dispell instead of 5)
I mean, yeah, 25% DEF down at burst with her weapons is her biggest selling point, but saying it's really only good thing about her is like saying, thay Mordred is only good for Black Propaganda and forgetting about 10% ATK/DEF debuff, blind, dizziness and affliction resist down.
