I'd go either with Herc's axe or Shingen's spear.
As a slightly off-topic remark: Herc will like this team, seeing how much buffs it has (not to mention three assault buffs, all of different frames).

That was more of a general statement, than Herc defending.
I just meant that sometimes damage is what makes doing some content possible (and by damage I mean going with very offensive, glass-cannonish like build).
