Technically speaking you can farm Rare mobs from Quests, those drop a R weapon if they spawn. But it's just not worth it, it's much better to spend AP elsewhere. Like Gem Quests so that you can spam Gem Gacha.

Eidolon enhance matter will fill up first for everyone. After that, it's just garbage. Just set your auto-sell on and "collect" them for a couple of Gems. You can keep some SR fodder if you want, but usually you don't need to.
