This I surmise from checking the team composition during raids, 60-80% use a soul of the opposing element. The thing with DMM is that they have implemented a lot of measures to allow newer players to catch up. This includes a never-ending supply of elixirs and guaranteed R weapons from normal Gacha pulls. I have been able to clear guild order lvl 4 in almost all the elements after less than three months of playing but it will be some time till I can do a full clear since the final enemy hits really hard.
You're being way too optimistic with these so called 'catch up' measures. Yes, it costs much less gems each day to do gemcha for the needed amount of fodders now, and SL exp system makes it easier to SLing, but for new players catching up? Ahahaha. That's funny. Newbies who missed the Advent and UE FLB weapons will forever be missing them. That's the only way for F2P players to hope to reach better footings in the increasingly selective and punishing contents. These new Epic Quests (Old Raid Events made into Newbie Story Quets) are a blatant lie. All it does is hand over a year outdated gears that hardly anybody wants. Also, you can only get 4 copies of each (1 MLB set) and they don't restock. Oh, did I mention that 5 out of 6 of these Old Raids that are released have non-Atk weapon rewards? Awesome ...Not.

P.S. Indeed you don't need Light to be viable support in the High Ragnarok Raids. But you certainly don't want to be running Fire or Dark for healing support either when they are pretty ass at staying alive themselves. Let's be real here... Dead Andromeda = 0 raid heal.
