Newbies who missed the Advent and UE FLB weapons will forever be missing them. That's the only way for F2P players to hope to reach better footings in the increasingly selective and punishing contents.
I'm sure the next Advent and UE for another element will be even better. That's how these games work after all.

Yep. I made the mistake of actually MLB-ing one of these weapons just because I had too many wep upgrade materials sitting around. I've seen youtube vids of someone with multiple MLBs of that dark axe from the ori shop. Talk about cheating... Don't think he's been banned because he's still making those vids. And probably cuz he's a spender.

I've been running dark as 'support' with Andromeda's soul wep with added max HP and regen. (I say 'support' cuz I mostly afk and let things take their natural course). My dark team lasts much longer than my light team on auto-pilot even with the added light ascension because the status ailments kill off my light team pretty quickly and I have the 'reduce charge' skill on my dark team. You could also use Master Points to increase Andro's stealth skill so she stays alive longer, but it doesn't seem to be necessary for my dark team. Half of the raid uses Andromeda anyway so you could probably get away with using somebody else and still survive. Fire isn't a problem either if you have something that raises HP. I happened to pull one through the free SSR wep ticket. So non-attack weps aren't all that useless after all.
