Ehh, beg to differ. If you only intend to spend only one mtix ever, then Sol is a good choice. But if you are willing to spend a few, I would still do Mike first, then Tish and maybe after that Sol (you may not need Sol by that point and will probably go for Lugh or Iris.)

The earlier post about Mike only being good after AW and Tish needs a good team are both true, but mtix dun come often, so I would argue it's better to spend it on your core team. Sol is still good and I use her every now and then, but she is not core for a modern light team.

Sol is very beginner friendly, that's true, but you don't need her to be able to farm up to full SR disaster grid, and once you have that and a few event eidolons to boost your stats, you really should be looking to move off defensive style play. Sol might shorten that beginning period, but Mike and Tish will provide much more value in the medium to very long term.
