Thread: [Event 41] Raid Event vs Barong

honestly, unless you're trying to get PP (cause it's up to 300 more tickets), you probably will have to play a little dirty for this one...

either let someone eat the raging nuke or do the attack/burst for a turn then leave method... i don't exactly have much trust for a public raid for this one and soloing ragnarok is not an option...

since the boss is all about debuffs.... has anyone actually tried doing this boss WITHOUT any debuffs on her? sounds silly but... for SCIENCE!

That's NG. EX is fine, but EX has crap hp so nobody cares. For Rags, firstly her 2-hit normal ability beam spam hits hard without any form of attack down. Secondly, since you're not really gonna be soloing, you can't stop ppl from debuffing her in a pug.

this is the reason why i said you'll need at least some debuffing....

unless you're doing some absurd damage (like 50k+ per hit normally), you'll likely need some atk downs...

and if you are doing that much damage, then soloing shouldn't be an issue for you (i doubt guild order would be an issue for you...)

but for players like me that do 30k or less per hit with buffs and debuffs factored in, then yeah, we could have an issue with getting the right amount of debuffing, especially when you can't control others in a raid and there can be a lot of people in one....

Just leech through this raid event. Preferably with your union and friends. Its not a pleasant raid to farm on your own even with an established team (her rage gauge is fairly long.) I still rate Barong among the most annoying raid events myself, third after Amaru and Monoceros.

Was Monoceros that annoying? I found myself having zero problem with her even on aab. Her damage is tickling at best, and her debuff is not really strong either
