Based on my past experience from post #688, the 1_download_assets error files are likely NPC sprites that aren't in the harem scenes. If you want to try downloading them directly from the game, check post #731 for the procedure. I've attached an updated troubleshooting guide that mentions this issue on step 7 for both versions.
