Thank you for your reply. I received the image, but 5216-2-2_b should be a sequence diagram. I'm not sure if the image is supposed to look like this or if there's an issue.

I mainly noticed that in the DMM version of the game, 5216-2-2_b is a film reel image, whereas in the Nutaku version it is not, which I found strange. It seems that's just how the Nutaku version is.

Updated both DLpy scripts, the troubleshooting guide (mentions the newest DLpy script location), attached the DMM files for Billy the Kid [Unreasonable Love], Hades [Heavenly Awakening], and [Memorial0046] Takeminakata. The previous DMM files are on post #920. For instructions on extracting files from image or GIF archives, read post #674. For an explanation on using the DLpy script and installing the downloaded JSONs check post #762.

Edit 1: Updated both DLpy scripts, attached the DMM files for Perseus [Sewing of Catastrophe], [Memorial0047] Hastur, and [Memorial0048] Ithaqua.

I see that the player back in page 1 was last updated in september 2021.

Is there player somewhere in this thread that is more up to date?

The last thing I want to do is to go through all the pages to download more scenes.

Hi, when updating my Nutaku player that I last updated last year around May, I encountered this error when attempting to do the 3_write_config step. I originally had a similar error on 1_download_assets as well but when I deleted the raw_scenario files for both Frey (Reminiscense) and Angra Manyu, the 1_download_assets step went through without any errors. However the 3_write_config is still displaying this error

I followed Berwayer's troubleshooting guide but unfortunately I couldn't find anything related to this issue, unless I missed something. Any help would be greatly appreciated

It works as a standalone tool.
This was mainly built for the Unity offline player, so there are a few compatibility issues with the Ren’Py version.

In my Win10 laptop,
I replaced the 2025-06-21 KPBeta files with the newer ones in Google Drive
and used the downloader to fetch scenariosForBeta and index.csv.
However, some characters are not appearing under certain conditions.

When I click Soul,


and then click Skin,

clicking Skin again will display all the characters except the Normal one.


When I click Eidolon,

and then click Eidolon again, the display works fine, except for the Story one.


And did you change the character sorting method?
I can no longer find characters on the same pages I had noted before, like SSR261 (page 2, x6, y1).

OH, never mind, you said index.csv by generator is incomplete in readme.txt

By the way,
It would be great if the player could add a favorite function
or remember the last page I was on.

I want to use KP Downloader to download characters I don't own,

but I have absolutely no idea how to use it.

I hope someone can teach me.

I want ［或る夏の一幕］ファレグ and ［ちいさな慕情］バグベア.

Thanks for giving the tool a spin.

Bad news is I couldn’t reproduce that bug on my setup.

But I’ve got a pretty good idea what’s causing it, so I’ll check it out in the next update. I’ll think about adding those extra features too.

I’m kinda away from the project for a bit right now, so just hang tight.

KP Downloader only works with the Unity player, nothing else.

Also it skips duplicate files automatically, so you can just run the whole download process from the top and it’ll sort itself out.

I tried it but encountered an error, so I'm commenting to report it and ask for help if possible.

Environment
Win10
I haven't made any changes to KPBetaDownloader after downloading it.

Steps taken
・Entered x-kh-session
・Set target to “memorial” or ‘burst’ without checking “Modify JSON”.
・1. Ran DownloadScenario ⇒ Completed
・Ran 2.DownloadAssets ⇒ The following error appeared and it wouldn't proceed

Error message:
“Illegal trailing comma before end of object: line 11 column 64 (char 158)”
