Whats the maximum cost reduction for momoji? Got 4 until the start wit 3 lancer 1 pirate doing only 4th map but i wont skip thursday daily need spica before rotation comes.

it's generally 5 for all event units with only a few exceptions.

the paralyzing thing only happens with this event unit only, isn't it? i am kind of thing about using Chizuru or the plat samurai in trading post

up to you. samurais are such a niche class that when you find a use for them, whichever you choose will likely suffice.
self-paralysis skills on the other hand, can be found in other units in the future, including AW prince.

I was curious when this trend started, considering the very first event units were -3 cost like everything else.

Belinda and Aria were -3.
Maribel, Echidna, and Rowanna were -4.
Odette and onwards were -5.

And a few interesting cases...

Karma is -3 as plat and -5 as black.
Dorania can apparently be mincost -3, but Anya has no mincost whatsoever and is always cost 35.

So yeah, a majority of event units were -5 all along, but because of our slow-ass event schedule, it took us a long while before we started rolling out with the norm.

also a few unit on nutaku has higher cost than they are on dmm

That's because we haven't received the relevant class buffs.

I believe the silvers have the same chance of dropping on any stage so the best is low sortie costs that still have 2 silvers, but you also have to factor in what you need.

I'd say Chaos on the Frontline Chance for Giovanni and Elaine, as an added bonus you can get Demon Crystals there too. You also have a higher chance to get Momiji, but you already said you didn't care about her.
