Take this week off event and level up your team. Star Breaks are two week long, and you only need to three-star each map once, so you can relegate this task to the weekend of a second week if you feel your team underperforming.

I'm relatively new.

This is my second event. First time doing a "star rush" type event.
I have completed 5 maps., 3 of which are 3 stars.
I failed badly on Desert battle X. No way will I complete that!!
However I have completed Desert Brigands about 10 times.

I have yet to receive a star. I have received 4 Lady Rogue Harissa's drops. How do I know haw many stars I have?
Is it counted anywhere?

I'm level 88 with about 5 units evolved, 0 units awakened and am hoping to get a low level Shuka, so 15 to 20 stars, hopefully.

Your stars are the mission ranking. All enemies killed, no units defeated, and completing the mission are the star requirements, and you have to meet all three in a single run to get the full three stars from a mission. Repeating does not get you additional stars.
