EthEternal for lower lvl guides, VP Games and Poor Troopers for a bit higher level maps. That lead me fairly well in 3*ing some maps

Yeah the 3 star silver runs are more about bragging rights. A telltale sign is take a look at their Prince's level. I can't recall ever seeing any of these by players under level 160ish.

They are good to get an idea on unit placing, ideal units to try and what to expect however. But its not a copy/paste guide to winning. New players won't have min costed silvers in abundance, they are lucky to have silvers CCed and maybe max levelled.

If an experienced player were to do this from a new account then it might be more useful. But over time the account goes from new to experienced so it only lasts so long. Though a "guide" instead of a direct "how to win" is better anyway. Can't do all the thinking for players.

for the record, even though he has a higher prince level, some of the video he use a weaker skill buff title (descendent of the hero, and so on instead of savior, in particular for the easier maps) to nerf his prince stats so they're replicable. his units are almost never CR'd.

the only problem is that he sometimes fails to 2* the G-tier maps and thus never creates a video for them, forcing me to rely on others and scrape by somehow.

There is actually one. とある無課金王子のアイギス [ a non-billing prince's Aigis ] @mz, or mizukizero1 according to the url. Only gold+ units I've seen him used are Katie, Iris, Bashira and Cloris, of which only Katie is CC.
He (obviously) doesn't clear everything, but he is an excellent source to take a look at how to do some maps.

he's not as good as atarime because iirc I've seen some CR'd units, and he tends to use a lot of event units from what I can tell, but for those who missed event units you're effectively fucked.

Was trying to understand how I missed those, as well as trying to remember who lieselotte is, then I saw the video. Yes, he's probably not the best low rarity DMM example, but not sure if that holds true for Nutaku as well.
No idea about DMM, haven't had the need to look for videos there yet.
