Well, taking another look at the announcement, it seems you are both correct while I had misremembered the latter date. Unfortunate, though it is far from the worst break we've had and at least has a set end in sight. Hopefully there will be some form of added content such as the other Eastern Wind story maps or at least another boosted drop rate week.
