I was just curious. Only needed Nanaly in my first and only attempt but I was pretty sure that Spica couldn't hold them on her own for too long. It seems reasonable that 2 of them are required in that situation.

well spica can hold for approximately 3 attacks. which isn't long, but it should keep bashira alive long enough to kill one so she doesn't get attacked by 3 at once, which is the key. not like we have any other tanks for the ranged unit slots. unless you place a healer.

No need for 2 archers at all, just use Bashira's skill once more than one sahagin start spawning at a time.

And i do not believe Spica can hold it. They hit harder than in the japanese version and Bashira dies without skill usage (a maxed Bashira) so i doubt Spica will fare too well when her skill is not really about burst.

as tenhou said , there is no need for 2 archers. My lvl 50 bashira was enough. just let her kill the first 1 , then activate her skill when the next 2 arive. A lvl 70 spica can't do it btw. Talking from experience

So for those of us without Bashira, I'd suspect switching out Archers as they get critically low is the answer?

Also including Elizabeth into the mix since unit type-wide triple shit is fun.

Well, I 3-starred the first 8 maps on the first attempts and got all the drops for the last map on the first try (albeit I only got one star). That's good enough for me, considering I don't have any op units ^_^

Maybe I'll give the last map a few more tries at the end of the event.

With Elizabeth she can destroy the fish but her range isn't far enough to help attack things unless they are just about to get a hit on you. I used Bashira (can use another archer probably fine) to kill the first one or two little fish that come from bottom left and then switched to Liz to give her time to charge her special since she needed it to not let them clump.
