1. DT:M
  2. Coliseum

You can battle other players in the coliseum.
In these battles, you will both fight with the deck set as your main deck.

Mobius Duel System

Battles fought through careful use of skills with different activation times and decks made up of nine knights (cards).
Decks are rotated each turn, and it is important to construct your deck with the locations and movements of knights (cards) in mind.
Phases
One turn in the Mobius Duel System consists of three phases.
  • The Tactics Phase
[Starting Activation], [Always Active] and [Passive] skills activate during this phase, regardless of the positioning of cards.

  • The Duel Phase
[Action Activation] skills activate during this phase.
[Action Activation] skills can only activate for the leader and three front-row cards (those that enter melee with the enemy deck).

  • The Mobius Phase
After melee has occurred between decks, the deck rotation phase begins.
When the decks are finished rotating, the next turn begins.

Phase displays do not change when skills do not activate.

Deck Building

To make a good coliseum deck, the first step is to analyze the actual metagame. Depending on how the majority of coliseum decks are built, your deck might totally change.
A good coliseum player (not the richest players) is a player that will enhance his deck almost every day to beat the meta.

Here is the example of one very successfull deck (97% winrate) used during the event The Goddess Beckons
At this moment (31 december 2015), the metagame was composed of 3 types of decks (totally arbitrarily named here) :
  • The Bursters : Basically the players that were using (for the first 2 turns) a lot of action activation skills such as Apocalypse (Beginner), trying to overwhelm the opponent by the amount of attacks dealts.
  • The Debuffers : The players that tried to over-debuff the opponent deck so they can survive multiple rounds easily.
  • The Survivors : The players that were mainly using Piko (to cancel buffs & debuffs), some heals & counter-attacks.
Do note that with the apparition of UR Princesses and Piko, the meta changed a lot and very quickly. That's why a lot of decks were viable. Basically the hardest decks to beat were the ones with a lot of UR Princesses or with UR Princesses + Piko or the hard bursters.

Caution : The following is an example of how a deck was designed and built for a specific metagame.

BACK LANE (+ Elegant Diske)
  • Palmeri and Haderas were in corners because they could put up with a lot of damages.
  • Beginner Ema & Elegant Diske are pretty squishy so they couldn't handle a lot of direct damages, plus, they were very important in the deck.
  • Beginner Ema has a buff for all warriors and a very strong passive.
  • Elegant Diske has two extremely powerful passives which can win the fight by themselves.
Deck
FRONT LANE (+ Captain Fiene)
  • Piko is on the front lane for very simples reasons : To counter the bursters. Against bursters, you need to put your healers in the front lane so your deck handle their massive amount of damages. Piko is also one of the main cards of this deck because of her opponent's buff cancelation (which, unfortunately, also makes every debuff useless).
  • Armaros is there to buff Judy & Vanessa, he's also the strongest BP-card anyone could make without spending tremendous amount of money and have a very strong passive (if he's not too much debuffed).
  • Vanessa is the main damage dealer of the deck. With her insane counter-attack and impressive stats, she was the most used card of this meta. Revive, Extremely strong counter and good debuff.
  • Captain Fiene was one the last additions to the deck, due to the apparition, in some decks, of cards like Lana or UR Princesses (or some Aviall sometimes), which made a strong difference against decks abusing buffs after the starting activation phase. She also has a very good survivability and a good buff (like Armaros).
OVERALL STRATEGY
  • The Leader was Judy, because the deck aimed to survive (the third category of deck), and there is no better card for this than a healer+dodger (Shoal might have been good too, but Judy also buffs warriors, which was very interesting at the moment).
  • Against abusers of Apocalypse (Beginner) : 3 Counters on corners + Heals from Judy & Piko on first turn (+ Judy & Elegant Diske on every other turn). Usually, Palmeri & Vanessa survive, sometimes Haderas does survive too. If one counter-attacker get hit multiple times, he will use his counter-attack skill as many times on the opponent (bursters decks often get bursted because of their own strategy).
Do note that it does also work against random bursters of the mainy heals & positioning.
Do note that the "full-buff" decks alost didn't work, because of Piko.
  • Against debuffers : To counter debuffers, you just want to buff more than they will debuff you (buffs are multiplicative, it goes up very fast, however, debuffs aren't multiplicative). So the thing was simple here : full buff on Vanessa so she can hit with at least her normal damages or more. Debuffers decks didn't have Piko (that's pointless to put Piko & Debuffs in the same deck) so if you focus on buffs, debuffs decks will get annihilated because buffs are, in almost every case, better than debuffs.
  • Against survivers, piko users & ur princesses abusers : This is where this deck ended up losing some few fights because it can get pretty random because of UR Princesses targets. But thanks to Piko & Captain Fiene, you have 2 full turn where your opponent won't get any buff so here's the thing : if Vanessa and Elegant Diske get killed in the very firsts turns, then the fight is lost (as I said, on 300 top-coliseum-leagues fights, this deck lost only 9 times, so this doesn't happen very often).
