Basic Information

What is this game?
Flower Knight Girl (FKG) is an online browser game where you collect and train anthropomorphic girls whose personalities and appearances are based on flowers ("Flower Knights") in order to battle rampaging insects that are invading the world.
What's the maximum (player) level?
The current maximum is level 250.
Can I increase the number of parties I have?
You will unlock additional parties as you level up.
  • Second party unlocked at level 3.
  • Third party unlocked at level 5.
  • Fourth party unlocked at level 10.
Is there a limit on how much equipment I can have?
You can initially store 100 pieces of equipment. You can expand this capacity by spending one Flower Gem to unlock five additional slots. Up to a maximum of 650 slots
Do gifts expire?
Gifts will disappear after 30 days.
Is there a limit on how many gifts I can have?
The gift box will only display up to 50 items at a time depending on sorting order and the tab. Any gifts beyond that will be hidden. Hidden gifts will expire like any other.
How do I recover stamina?
Stamina will regenerate at a rate of one point per three minutes. You can recover stamina with Gather (located next to the gift box on the home menu).

You can use a Stamina Nectar to recover 50% of your Stamina. The Stamina Nectar can recover Stamina above your limit. For example, if you're at 150/200 Stamina, you Stamina Nectar will recover you to 250/200. While over the stamina cap, you will not regenerate stamina and you cannot recover stamina again using a Stamina Nectar.

Alternatively, you may also use Flower Gems to recover stamina. One Flower Gem will restore your stamina fully, possibly beyond your stamina cap. For instance, if your stamina cap is 240 and you currently have 60 stamina, restoring with a Flower Gem will raise your stamina to 300. While over the stamina cap, you will not regenerate stamina and you cannot recover stamina again using more Flower Gems.
What is total squad power?
Each of your squads will be assigned a power rating depending on the sum of their HP, ATK and DEF values. Equipment is not factored into this rating. As such, squad power may not be a fully accurate indicator of a squad's combat capability.

The parameters considered in the calculation of squad power will also differ depending on the location you view this information.

In the ally list:
  • Self: basic power (HP + ATK + DEF), affection bonus, Ampy bonuses.
  • Others: basic power (HP + ATK + DEF), affection bonus, Ampy bonuses.
Equipment is not taken into consideration.

While forming team for mission:
  • Self: basic power (HP + ATK + DEF), affection bonus, Ampy bonuses.
  • Others: basic power (HP + ATK + DEF).
Equipment is not taken into consideration.

As can be seen, the actual power of a squad may only be revealed when engaging in battle (and it may be much greater than the power rating leads you to believe). Note that when choosing a helper, the knight with the highest level in your team will be used to cap the power of your available helpers. Evolved knights will not be treated as a special case, i.e. a Level 1 evolved knight will count as being Level 1. As such, the power rating of your helper squads will be reduced if you evolve your highest level knight without any other knights near that level.

The table below contains some examples of what happens while selecting your helper squad.

How is damage to enemies calculated?
The formula below is based on information from the Japanese wiki.

How much damage does Solar Blast do?
You can approximate the damage of Solar Blast by using the formula below, based on information from the Japanese wiki.

Sometimes I see a dark red girl on the map with a heart. What is this?
This is a special healing panel generated by Chocolate Cosmos' ability. This panel will still appear if your helper has Chocolate Cosmos in their squad but you do not.

How do I lock equipment?
  • Navigate to the Unit screen.
  • Click on the "Character Equip/Lock" tab.
  • Switch the view by clicking the blue "Equipment" button. You can lock your equipment from this menu.

Characters

What are attributes?
There are four different attributes in this game.

SliceHitPierceMagic

Each knight is associated with a certain attribute, giving them a bonus in combat against pests with the same attribute. Knights that share the same attribute as an enemy pest will deal 1.5x extra damage against that pest. Knights will not receive increased damage in relation to their attribute. This mechanic is only relevant to damage against pests.

Knights that have a mismatch in attribute type against a pest may still trigger a critical. Criticals also deal 1.5x extra damage, but they only occur when a mismatch in attributes is present.
What is affection?
You can give your knights different gifts to increase their affection levels.

Books
Cakes
Jewels
Toys

Each knight has a specific preference of gift. Giving them their favourite type of gift will increase their affection level by double the regular amount, so try to do this as much as possible.

Awards are a special type of gift obtained by clearing event maps. These gifts will raise a knight's affection by a fixed amount regardless of their gift preference.

Affection bonuses will increase at a fixed rate per percentage, with the added bonus of a 1.2x boost once you have reached 100% affection. For instance, assume that your current ATK bonus is +245 and each percentage gained raises this bonus by +5. If your affection is currently at 99%, upon reaching 100% your ATK bonus will be boosted to 300 (250 * 1.2 = 300).

When evolving knights, their current affection bonus will be doubled. They do not need to have their affection maxed out before evolving.

If you are playing the R18 version of the game, maxing affection will also unlock a scene for characters that have them.
What do I do with duplicate knights?
You may merge knights with the same skill to increase their skill level, or the exact same knight to unlock equipment slots. Skill level increases are not guaranteed, however equipment slot unlocks are.

Skill levels can be improved without merging knights with the same skill by using Skillblooms. Skillblooms are available for purchase using Life Crystals from the Exchange Center.

During certain events, unique Skillblooms may also drop that can only be used on that event's reward character. These events will also drop Dressblooms for unlocking that character's equipment slots. Non-unique Dressblooms are not available for purchase from the Exchange Center.

Take note that the above mechanic makes it difficult to max out on skills and equipment slots for rarer knights. Also consider that it may sometimes prove useful to have multiple copies of a knight. For instance, Lilac's ability negates panel movement modifiers. Although duplicate knights cannot be stacked on the same team, having two copies of Lilac on different teams will grant immunity to two of your squads from spider webs and whirlwinds.

Early on, it may be more useful to keep copies of rarer knights as the benefits gained from merging them is relatively less than that of levelling each duplicate.

Upgrade and Evolution

What's the relation between manyu/dragon level and upgrading/evolution?
Higher level manyus grant greater amounts of experience. Specific amounts of dragons are required when evolving knights. Rarer knights require higher level dragons. See the Upgrade and Evolution page for more details.
What should I do when evolving?
Knights you wish to evolve must be at maximum level before evolution. For 2★-4★ knights, the pre-evolution maximum level is 50. For 5★ and 6★ knights, the maximum level is 60. Once maximum level is reached, you may evolve the knight if you possess the right combination of dragons. Check the relevant knight's page (under the Affection and Evolution section) to determine which dragons are required for evolution.

After evolution, your knight will return to level 1 with greatly improved stats, albeit still slightly lower than what you had while maxed out pre-evolution. Post-evolution stats will begin to exceed pre-evolution max stats at around level 20, notwithstanding affection bonuses. If you maxed out affection prior to evolving, you will have probably have exceeded the pre-evolution max by around level 10.
I never have enough level 100 dragons.
Unfortunately, the only course of action is to keep grinding the weekly dragon missions. Level 100 dragons drop with the highest frequency in the Advanced missions, so focus your efforts there.

Skills and Abilities

How do I increase skill level?
You can upgrade a knight using another knight with the same skill to increase their skill level. You can also upgrade them using Skillblooms.
How do evolved abilities work?
Upon evolution, your knight may gain an additional ability or enhance an existing ability depending on their rarity.

RarityAbilities
2★No abilities at all.
3★No ability pre-evolution, gain an ability post-evolution.
4★One ability pre-evolution, enhance existing ability post-evolution*.
5★One ability pre-evolution, gain an ability post-evolution.
6★One ability pre-evolution, gain an ability post-evolution.
* Lilac is an exception. She gains an ability after evolution.

General Tips

I can't clear a stage.
Generally this can be solved by upgrading your knights. You may want to make use of the Wednesday/Sunday weekly manyu missions to gather some upgrade material. Secret Garden stages will also drop manyus; these will trigger randomly when you finish a stage in the main campaign.
What's an efficient way to level units?
The most optimal method of raising unit levels is to feed manyu spirits 10 at a time. This limits the amount of gold you spend per upgrade. You should also avoid using low level manyus on higher level units as this will cost an extraordinary amount of gold to generate any significant returns. As a general rule of thumb,
  • Use level 5 manyus to reach level 30.
  • Use level 20 manyus to reach level 50.
  • Use level 100 manyus otherwise.
I'm running out of gold. What do I do?
2★ knights outlive their usefulness quickly. Beyond using them to raise skill levels for higher rarity knights, you can also sell them in batches for a bit of gold.

You may be tempted to use disposable knights as upgrade fodder, however it is best to keep manyus exclusively for this purpose as the cost of upgrading quickly becomes cost-prohibitive if you mainly use knights.

The Saturday weekly mission will drop a higher proportion of gold than regular missions, though the stamina cost for the most efficient mission (Advanced) is high. You can also try running low stamina campaign missions. These will still net you gold in smaller but more consistent quantities. In addition, it will allow you to level up more frequently and keep running more missions.

For maps up to 4-5, 1-1 is the most stamina-efficient with 1-5 and 3-5 being notable as well. Other notable stages include 5-2, 5-5 and 8-4. Secret Gardens will also drop a moderate amount of gold, and some event maps are also viable.
Where can I farm seeds?
For maps up to 4-5, 3-5 is the most efficient with 1-5 being the next best.
Anything of interest beyond 5-1?
In terms of experience, 8-1 and 12-4 are the most time efficient. Ampies will drop starting from 12-1. Mid-grade equipment gacha seeds will drop from raid bosses encountered in 9-1 and beyond.

Stage/Battle

One of the spawns is unoccupied by my squads.
You can drag and drop your squads onto any of the spawns before you press "Start".
Do the branch/fork nodes depend on where the arrows are pointing?
No, it's completely random. You can't direct your squads a certain way by eyeballing the arrow.
Why do the pests keep attacking the same unit?
Their behaviour is mostly random, though some bosses seem to target lower HP units.

Raid Boss

How do raid bosses work?
Raid bosses provide seeds for you to use in the equipment gacha. Every time you finish a stage, there's a chance you'll encounter a raid boss. Once this happens, you will be given an option to fight it immediately or later. Raid bosses typically disappear 2 hours after an encounter. In order to obtain rewards from a raid boss, you (and possibly others you've shared with) must reduce their HP to zero. Anything else will not grant rewards.

If you discover a raid boss, you will obtain a bonus discovery reward. Helping to fight any raid boss will grant you a participation reward.
Which attack should I use (Weak/Regular/Full Power)?
The amount of damage you do to a raid boss is irrelevant to the reward you receive. Participation rewards are fixed per boss, and multiple attacks on the same boss will not yield additional rewards. As such it is best to use the cheapest attack in order to hit the greatest number of bosses.
What's a Seed Bearer?
The Seed Bearer is a unique raid boss that is extremely fragile and drops a large amount of mid-grade equipment seeds. Using a special squad with a single weak unit is helpful if you want to share this boss with others.

The Seed Bearer used to have a very short timer (5 minutes), but this has since been changed to 24 hours.
How do I get help with a boss?
On the screen where you decide which attack to use, there's a "Support Request" button on the top left. Use this to share your boss with other players. Note that if you attack a boss for the first time and fail to defeat it, "Support Request" is automatically triggered and cannot be dismissed.

Keep in mind that you will only receive the discovery reward and not the participation reward unless you attack the boss at least once.
