Basic Information

What is this game?
Pocket Fantasy is a lane battle game for Android devices. The girls are based off different Pokemon, and you have to collect them to help you battle Team Rascal, and a renegade poke-girl who wants to destroy the world.
NSFW Warning
Obviously this game has NSFW content, but what makes this notice necessary, is the NSFW content isn't 'on demand'. There is NSFW content on loading screens, in the battles, and on character equipment sheets. They are looking at changing this due to community demand, but just wanted to make this abundantly clear.
Getting Started / Pay-to-Win
When first starting the game there a few things you may want to decide: Am I going to spend money? As it will affect your early game. Am I going to be content not being able to rise to the top in the PVP areas as a F2P player? There is 2 girls / one item that seem to be locked behind the pay-wall but beyond that everything else is obtainable with time.
Can I 'Collect 'Em All'?
At time of writing, there is only 2 girls who are truly locked behind a pay wall, all the other girls are gacha based (premium currency is fairly abundant as daily rewards) or farm-able via one of the games MANY other currencies.
Which starter girl should I choose?
All of the starter girls are pretty equal, and easy to farm the other 2 in the early game to get all 3. The main differences are Elemental/Abilitys/Ultimate type. Water gets a freeze ability, with a single target Ultimate. Fire gets a blind ability, with a single lane AoE Ultimate. Grass gets a poison ability, with a global AoE Ultimate. All 3 starters are 'Blast' (ranged) type girls. Fire is generally the weakest, because of some of her passive traits actually being hurtful in certain situations, but beyond that pick who you want.
How does Stamina (STA) work in this game?
Like most games Stamina recovery is primarily time based. The recovery rate is 8 mins per 1 stamina. Leveling up does NOT give a full stamina recovery so you don't have to factor that into your playing times to maximize your stamina. Instead level ups only give +30 stamina which can exceed your maximum(confirm?). Beyond that you can get stamina from having active people on your friends list, this will net you +2 stamina per friend that sent it, up to a maximum of 30 friends, 60 stamina. Then there are daily time window events for 'Roast Duck' which will restore +30 stamina if you log in and click on it during the window. The final stamina source is bread, which is a consumable that restores +30 stam. This consumable is generally locked behind premium currency but does have some other sources.
How grindy is this game?
Very. There are lots of different competitions / story areas and each seems to have its own currency, which is in return used to buy stuff from its respective shop. Increasing power level has multiple different sources to, rather than just level / gear, there are also gems / enchants(Not in currently) / extra skills / bonding / bonding resonance / awakening / evolution / mega-evolutions / Fostering / Collection bonuses(wiki) / more?
(early game) What girls should I go after?
If you're willing to spend some Nutaku gold get Thiazoprah/Oronia. She's amazing, you'll use her for a long time. Beyond that, pick one of the 3-Myth Monsters to focus on farming (Feliana / Vynvre / Penrahne) Feliana is probably the best choice, because you aren't guaranteed a good healer in the early game. Other than that you'll get some 3* and 4* girls as part of the tutorial, and not far in you'll get a 5* poke-egg, whatever comes out of that should probably get pushed into your team. There aren't specific girls to go after per-say other than replace those 3* and 4* as soon as possible.
What should I spend Pokestones on?
Pokestones, the premium currency trickle in on a daily basis, but there are also alot of things to spend them on. The community has pretty much agreed that the normal summoning is NOT worth it to use, ever.

What is Star Level / Talent Level?
These are both just ways of defining the overall power of the girl. Commonly girls will be referred to by their star level, but its important to note there is also Talent level, which is the more accurate power rating of a girl. Pink stars > Gold stars in terms of power. 5* golds refer to Talent 13-14 where as 5* pinks refer to Talent 15. Pink > Gold also scales into girls that are T16-T20. Stars and Talent level are both listed on the girls' character sheet.
What is Quality Level?
Quality level is just a visual indicator of where a girl/piece of equipment is in its terms of its relative power / growth. Quality order will be indicated by a image border color, that follows this pattern: white => green => blue => purple => orange => yellow => red.
Does girl's buff ability X work when shes in back-up slot?
There are a few girls who have passive abilities that say they specifically buff your team when self is backup. Abilities that do not have that language are very unlikely to be applied to the active team, until that character comes out on the field.

Characters / Character Sheet

Elemental type
There are 5 different elemental types in the game. Grass / Rock / Lightning / Water / Fire these follow the standard elemental wheel of strengths / weakness, but ONLY in certain areas of the game. Elemental bonuses(+postive bonuses only) come into play on defensive nodes in guild battles. Strengths and weaknesses come into play in the currently unreleased Hunting grounds. For example attacking a grass type with a fire type in the hunting ground will be applying +50% modifiers (undetermined if this is to both sides -50% def & +50% attack to the respective elemental types).
Leveling
Leveling girls is done with berries. Berries are a common / defined drop from certain instances. Some instances drop berries (and other loot) that are not clearly defined in level's potential loot window. There will be generally 2 different named berries at each quality level, so make sure you pay attention to name as well as the visuals. One warning on leveling though, is there is no way to do it piece by piece, if you have berries a girl wants, and you click level up see takes them all, regardless of what you wanted to do.
Awaken
Awakening is the process of improving the girl's quality (image border) to unlock passive skills and bonuses to Ultimate skill damage. Each quality has 3 stages per color, then a color upgrade. The stages per color are upgrade by spending dawnstones and gold. These grant the girl decent bonuses to ATK and HP stats and are displayed as 'Girl's Name+1/2/3'. Once you have a girl at +3 then next awakening step will transition to the next color quality, and will unlock a ability/ultimate bonus, the cost for doing this is different though. It will require other girls as materials and gold. Depending on the girl being awakened the mats may be generic like '4* girl' or they may be specific 'requires this specific girl' maybe even 'requires this specific girl, at this specific evolution stage'
Potential
Potential is strictly a stat gaining function, where you spend potential stone to increase your girl's HP and attack growth. This is essentially a Pokestone sink, as using poke stones is the only way to guarantee successful growth (and it comes with a 40% bonus growth), and unlike some other grinds were failure just means spending more currency, in this particular grind, failure means you actually lose the opportunity to try again. A girl will get 1 potential point per level. So higher level girls can get improved even more. Of course the more potential points you spend the more mats it will require on all fronts, more potential stones, more pokestones (or gold, not worth it for < 100%). In short doing the 100% Inspire should only be done on girls you intend to keep for the long haul. If you're in the early game and expect to replace a T14 or lower girl, its ok to do the lower inspires to save the poke stones for when they matter more.
Evolve
Evolution changes a girl to a higher version of her self. This generally only increases her Ultimate ability / Passive skill levels. It also has the benefit of filling out more of your in game wiki for those collection bonuses. Evolutions can NOT be undone. This important for one reason: if the girl is a material in the combine machine or is needed as a specific awakening material, she must be exactly the right evolution level. Evolution can change the girl's appearance on a few girls, but usually it just adds a color swirl to them, and causes them to disrobe (if they've added the nude skins for that girl). It should be noted that any evolution of a girl will count as her previous versions for the purpose of bonding bonuses on the character sheet.
Gems
Gems, unlike equipment which are bound to a slot{1-6}, are bound to a specific girl, in fact a specific copy of that girl. Gems give bonuses to stats / resistances / applied debuffs and some other things. Check out the chart here
Reborn
Resets your girl back to level 1, refunds all the things that went into your girl, with the exception of potential upgrades. Gold, berries, badges, girls used as mats, dawn stones will all be refunded. Potential points can be reset using a 'Reset Stone' bought in the shop, but it does not refund the pokestones you used to guarantee that 100% + bonus growth. Reborn does NOT reset evolution, or refund the evo stones. Reborn is primarily used when a girl that was on your active team has been replaced, and you want those mats back to power level the girl replacing her.
