Going from -60% atk to -70% atk: 25% less damage taken
Going from -40% atk to -70% atk: 50% less damage taken
And remember, when you take half damage, you're effectively also doubling the worth of your heals.

... but man would I hate it if I had either...This does allow for more varied team building. Without that nerf, the only way to build your team would be maximize your debuffs to absolutely 60% minimum, both.
