These demonic cores, should I use them to exchange for dragon shards? Or is there something better coming in the future.

The question is, what do you do with the excess? Since each event gives you more than what you can spend. I guess just holding on to them is a good idea, just incase a Ragnarok which you simply cannot beat shows up.
