Thread: [Event 24] Halloween Event - Jack o' Lantern Raid!

i'm joining ragnarok only during burst time so i can deal more damage alnig with my union members, outside burst time i'll join expert only.
doing ragnarok outside burst time will be harder and take longer time to clear so i prefer not to join any outside burst time.
though something seems off..i'm using my fire team during burst time to deal a little more damage during burst time in ragnarok battle.
i got my fire gun to level 20 skill level from level 10 and even got the lance from level 10 to level 12.
i haven't changed my formation, using about the same eidolons as support and the weapon grid is the same, nothing got removed.
and yet, from 1.4M+ my damage got reduced to 1.2-1.3M O_O

Debuffs? Unless you were solo, there were probably different debuffs up?

Also, 6% character attack from your weapon grid isn't a huge boost.

don't get me wrong, i didn't expect a huge boost after maxing 1 weapon, but i didn't expect to loost over 200K damage either O_O
thought it may be the same or a little but higher, but then it looks like leveling up the skill level wasn't worth it at all O_O
i'm not soloing her, but i use d'art with ambush so it should be the same debuff as before.
my friend thought it's because she cahnged gawain for mordred so i get less attack buff from gawain (brynhildr is same frame so it's not like i lose that much bost anyway)
but then someone with arthur joined the raid and i got arthur's boost which is even higer than gawain and still lower than 1.4M i had before.

Uuuuh? So you went from -40% Def (Sniper + Gawain's Ambush) to -20% Def (Sniper Shot) and you're wondering why you lost so much damage?

Debuffs are way, way, way more important than anything else. Well, okay, fine, that's not true, but assuming that your weapon grid is okay-ish (80%+), then at that point.

Oh, okay, fair enough. I misread. The only explanation I can think of is that there was a Cthulhu that you didn't notice, but I guess you don't make your Ragna's public? A mystery then.
And by your friend, I assume you mean Kitty? I remember saving you two from a Ragnarok once.

EDIT: Oh, and I assume you're using at least one Elemental Eidolon and not double HP Eidolons...?

we were fool enough, each one of us thought that the other had black propaganda while...none of us did *FacePalm*
usually we make ragnarok only during burst time for union, unless we're wiped out :O
and i know for sure kitty doesn't have cthulhu neither have i, i don't think she is using another kami with a different for def debuff so can't explain it :X
i'm using my ifrit, even though she is just level 40, it's the same eidolon i used when i dealt 1.4M before.
i tried to go with different eidolons as support like fafnir, apocalypse, echidna and ifrit as well, the highest i got was 1.3M while could get 1.4M with 2 level 40 ifrit before so...yea, i'm clueless about it.
