Thanks! I figure since you use a rogue to CC her might as well use the second copy to CR her. I haven't done the desert missions past Fiery Oasis, but since the videos I watched seem to be using four ranged physical damagers, and my default only has two until I get Spica, this way I can level a unit that can server a purpose later, and will help with the base scrambles.

Turns out I don't even need to bother with skill activation to get the full 500 kills....cool

I wouldnt suggest spending 100k gold on the TP silvers until you actually need them. they're silvers, so they have a chance of dropping from events.

I was only really considering Niel for 100k. I mean since Ertel, Khuri, and Percis can be obtained from story missions (when I get that far), and I haven't heard any reason to get Ricardo.

The video for the hardest map uses 2 valks, and a princess, but I only have one valk so I was thinking I might use Niel, after I remove my heavy or my heavy dies, to tank the liches. That is if that even makes sense. I have to work with what I have.

I used Kerry, Lilia, Claudia, Iris, a plat healer, an AW'd gold healer, Odette, and some other units. Nothing all that special.

Edit: OMG, I just got Sophie on my alt account that I don't even play that much...meanwhile I still haven't ever rolled any blacks on my main - I call BS! Not sure if I should be happy or sad The desire detector is as strong as ever :P

Ok, I have watched a LOT of videos on the 500 version of this map, and the consensus team comp seems to be...

1 Heavy
2 MR Tanks
3 Healers
2 Mages
2 Witches
1 Soldier (w/ call reinforcements)

I have..

1 Heavy - Leeanne 50cc50 100 aff
2 MR Tanks - Elaine 50cc50 100 aff and (GIANT HOLE)
3 Healers - Iris 50cc46 100 aff, Alissa 50cc50 100 aff, and Marr 50cc40 100 aff
2 Mages - Sasha 50cc40 100 aff and Valerie 50cc50
2 Witches - Cloris 50cc40 100 aff and Calliope 50cc50 100 aff
1 Soldier - Katie 50cc40 100 aff

I managed to get 491/500, but this team can't finish it. What do you purpose I should do for a second MR tank? I could get Niel from the Trading post, I could level another Elaine to 50cc30+, ect. I really want to get the 50 DC's. I would prefer to make a decision that would both get me through this AND work long term. A second Elaine seem like a last resort, but if I must I will.

...1 heavy? didnt realize 1 heavy was needed. I guess my dps too high for that.
I did it with 2 healers, iris and fedora. alissa on skill heals about the same as fedora (probably higher) so.
2 mages yes. 2 witches...I didnt use any. just had 2 archers (or at least I'll just consider Len as an archer for now)
2 soldiers. best. valk for UP generation.

you managed to get to 491 so you need to see what the issue is (aside from the liches). you should have room for 4 lightning rods if you did right. Imelia and Eunice can both be lightning rods. also, it honestly doesnt matter even if you fail the 50 DCs. you're still new so it can't be helped. I've missed 50 DCs on DMM 3 times.

edit: also, cut out units that you dont need. gargoyles should be easily handled with archer+mage. you can only improve if you try to analyze your own team and how you can make it better yourself, since it's yours. also, remember that units CAN die in subjugations. just let your bandits/elaine etc. die tanking lich dmg.

You do not need a second MR tank. There are a few guides that use 2 soldiers for UP generation (Katie and Phyllis), like key kii's and there's also this one that uses bandits to slow the liches.
Remember, you only need to do the 500 kills once, after that you can go with 491 ones to grind the 10000 total kills.

I should have mentioned I'm F2P, and I have 0 AWs...the videos (I watched at least 6) that I saw all had roughly that set up with 0 AWs. You might not need a heavy if you have AWs or premium damage units.

The second video was actually one I hadn't seen. Although, it really just used the same set up as most of the other ones, but used an archer where most used a Mage/Witch, or in one case a ??? (the witch that heals with skill use I forget what it is called). For me at least my Sasha is better than an equivalent archer I believe, and my double witches seems to be doing good on the right.

Overall my current plan is to get Imelia to 50cc30 and try again. If that doesn't work I will just have to be really sad, and try to figure something else out.
