i put 800+ exp on her, got 600~ back when x8-ing (so 150~ base)

it takes 466 exp to level odette from lv1 to lv10. notice I said lv10 and not lv13.

7*(10-1)*8 = 504

funny how a rank 206 player doesnt know that and even compares a lv13 instead of a lv10 like I said.
for future reference, it's lv20 for CC'd fodder.

edit: after a little calculation, it's probably better to get plats only to lv8 which would cost 350 exp, but give 7*7*8 = 392 exp. still, level 10 is easier to remember (because it IS level 10 for silvers) for pre-CC and level 20 for CC'd fodder. (for blacks, it is only up to level 6 if not CC'd and 17 after CC)

Even if it wasn't worth it XP-wise, it's always worth it gold-wise if you're only leveling high level units with the tin cans (like you should be.)

.-. But... i mean... less than 50 exp per mini-tincan... that's negligible for veteran players like myself (as you said rank 206)

I see how it could be useful if i was new to the game, close to no gold, in the middle of an event i really want to do, a lot of units and little fooder (so i could squeeze the most exp possble) but right now i don't even care losing 500~ exp (1k at most sometimes) when combining for 8k since i don't have THAT many units to level up, and my gold never goes under 2M (excep when awakening was first introduced, silver leveling meant fooder and gold, and the awakening process itself consumes a lot of gold for each one), but now i wake(? 1 or 2 units per month if even, and whenever ravivals come i can skip them (or when i completed a star-rush) and go to farm fooder/fairies/dailies for more leveling

All and all i don't think i will be leveling my fooder unless they boost the exp given per level, and, in doing so, making it more noticeable

It's pretty much the same experience invested (50 more or less exp is insignifiant ) with the only advantage being that you make 1 less combination into the main unit (so you DO save some gold). But experience wise , it's pretty much the same deal

There is no argument here. Sora is right. If you don't care to be as efficient as possible then fine, it isn't for everybody to min-max, but pointing out the best way of doing things should not be put down and most uninformed players will appreciate it.

I personally have been using 4 iron mages from Return the Field! per Odette which results in lvl 11. It's not perfect but its close enough. I get bonus same class xp, only 1 combine, and have the fodder handy from farming RtF anyway.

its 50 xp. 50xp is meaningless. How many mini tin cans do you need to use to make a difference ? 10 ? 20 ? how much extra xp is that ? 500 -1000 for 20 mini tin cans ?


The only thing that you save doing that is a couple Ks of gold because you're doing only one combination , which is not the point sora was making anyway , since he was talking about xp alone.

Assuming you are using 3 spirits of the same rarity, a lvl 1 platinum female unit of the same class will give 504 xp less than a lvl 10 platinum female unit of the same class. A lvl 11 will give 56 more xp than the lvl 10, but that you can probably ignore.
You can safely ignore leveling them if you are not using spirits.
