Thread: The Treacherous Pirate Guide

That last map is a masochist's wet dream. 2-starred it at the second try using my best units and even then my prince died and I still don't know why. RNGesus was not with me. Fortunately, I had all the drops so I can forget about that hell forever. Not worth getting that lone SC.

I really like both event units and I'm going to level both of them (especially Beatrice, I predict I will be using her quite a bit).

Done with the event. Not sure if I want to farm anything specific. The only really hard map for me was the last one, but two or three of them had nasty surprises that required adaptation.

God, the last map is a masochist's dream. Managed to 2-star it and get the full drop in one go. I still don't know how my prince died (only unit that died), but I'm not getting in there again just for 1 SC, that's for sure. It required all my near-cheat units such as Karma, Sophie and Rika.

Done with the event, though I might come back to farm some things when I know their drop rates. I'm leveling both units, really liked them (especially Beatrice).

I did map 1 and 2 pretty easily, but I get stomped on 3. Should I CC Daniela and then Iris and Leanne? Think I could make it to 15 stars by the end of the event? I pretty much use all my charisma and stamina everyday.

Remember: this is a two week event. If you want to get Beatrice you only need to 3-star until the fifth map. Just as an added suggestion to what others have said.

Spica will probably die. Her only bad stat is HP and those sea enemies hit hard and really fast.

I tried bashira on top spot, spica on bottom, and it sort of worked. my spica was 50CC57 I believe. spica tanked about 3 hits and nearly died before iris's heal landed on her though.

Christ, that was a nightmare. Needed Berna/Saki/Minerva assassinating most things and Bernice covering the leaks, among other bullshit.

Shiho is amazing on this map again due to slowing the gilman rush and helping keep tanks alive for one of the assassins to hopefully deal with the fish. Failing that, Solano does admirably well for the first three-quarters of the map.

All bets are off with the last wave, though. Bernice can safely tank everything with two healers, but I couldn't safely deploy Nanaly to damage much of anything, so I vainly dropped Karma in the middle to aggro everything and prayed for a miracle. Except it wasn't a vain move at all. I pulled through because Minerva managed to assassinate everything, INCLUDING THE BLACK DEMONS. Didn't even think that was likely, but hey, with all the luck involved on this map, I ain't complaining.

how about her aff, spica has low hp but she has higher def and MR so i guess there should be some use for that
could you spot position of unit on picture of stage 'cause now i have only soma (50%) and stray and both are not cc-ed, and not lot of time to farm

I did this too, but reversed positions for Spica and Bashira. Bashy gets her skill more often which really helps when they start clumping up. Never saw Spica ever be in trouble at the top.

Done with all maps but the final one now. First i messed up by not brining Solano, so got one star. Second time i messed up by not activating Minerva's skill so a fishman went past the line, was a 2 star victory. Got all the drops now but i'll try it again a bit later since i want that SC.

First time i've ever used Clissa. Dahlia has always been better for skill damage and cheapness, but her skill just can't be used with those fishmen around.

Well...7 down...2 to go. Just 1* pride of pirates because I didn't notice a little black goblin shooting arrows at me. Total bummer. Think I'll wait for the last day to do the final mission. No real hurry since there isn't much to farm there after you kill em all. So looks like I will spend my time farming silvers till I have at least 5 of each, then try for plat and black spirits, then go god mode on the final mission.

On a side note, I wish the music in the vid for the last mission was used for the game. I keep playing it just to hear it. Anyone know where its from?

Can Spica survive the sea merman raid on Pirate Counterattack X? I can see her surviving Another Encounter, but that map...

use 2 archers for that map. place bashira on bottom as per video, remove elaine once you place the mage, then activate skill once 2nd sahagin is close to bashira and place spica to delay the 3rd sahagin for a couple of attacks.
