In fairness he's not even at that point yet. He needs a complete workup from the ground up. Once he learns the basics then he can decide on that.

A bouqet is the lowest affection giving item and can give 1-2 affection. So if you raise it from 49 to the non-CC max of 50, you potentially lose out on one affection point. I know it isn't much, but it is still something. Same with being 48 and using a pearl, 47 and using a ruby, or 46 and using a diamond. All of them have a chance to give you one more point.

Also never heard of the term Cost Evolve before. People tend to use CC (Class Change, the japanese term) or CE (Class Evolution).
... If he's in a situation where the loss of 1 point from a Bouquet hurts him, he's not doing dailies enough. The whole point is to get max stats out of a character is what I was trying to say. Also meant to say Class Evolve but forgot to erase Cost Reduction and mixed them lol.
