Seems to be precisely like an aigis star rush event, and yeah 8 or more stages.

Doubt it will be very difficult. I mean, do consider that it is the first event we get and that it must take into account that we started playing 4 days ago (unless we inserted the Canadian cheat code). We also have a whole 2 weeks to do it so i'd assume that if you cannot clear this you'll never clear anything ever and remain a nameless character that walks from point A to B in a 2 second movie clip

since the first 4 maps will be there for a week and the rest on second week, i think i'll be able to rush those first maps so i can level my team before 2nd half

people who know more about this event, what's the recomended power to 3* the maps? (i say this because only main squad is "strong", all others are under lv 10...)

I think you should have filled your squad with bronzes and level all of them at least 20 to get them work for most things. I increased storage to 120, farmed every type of 2* girl and used 10 of them on the same type of 3* After that i used 5 1* and 5 3* manyus to get all of them straight to 30lwl, but its dependent on how much you farm manyus in one day.

A small tip: with a little calculating using 9 2* girls of same type and 1 2* another type makes a bronze girl 8lwl %95 which is a bit cheaper to level further than lwl 9 (which is achieved with using 10 2* same type) and at 8lwl %5 is nearly nothing

I heard that:

-A full group of Lv30 3* or better is 'recommended' for this event, though I'm assuming the first half is a bit easier.
-The developers decided to stop trying to make the standard events difficult at some point, so only the first handful of events might make it hard to max out characters.
-This event's knight, Lavender, is considered to be the game's only non-skippable must-have event character. I'm assuming that's because of the 3x tile heal during subjugation ability.
-The DMM version has revivals of old events, periodic revivals of this one.

Does anyone know whether the phase 1 maps are still going to be available once phase 2 starts?

I don't know the exact details ... either it's for the squad she's in, or for ANY of your squads while she's in one of them. The wording of the translated description (http://flowerknight.wikia.com/wiki/Lavender : "During Subjugation, recovery panels heal for 3x more") would suggest the later (and a 4x heal, actually), but I can't be sure just from that.

I also don't know what exactly 'Subjugation' is referring to, though I assume that that would be standard events.

Subjugation means more likely travelling in map where healing nodes can be found, my toad lily has -%50 damage from insects while running across the map which referred as subjugation. Thought healing nodes heals fully though.

So first half of the events up, cleared it pretty easily.

Do people think that farming the last map is viable? ?-4 has 40 stam for 500 xp (12.5 ratio) and most of the time you get 5 boxes, which lets you get a lot of gifts. Also I've been getting a lot of gacha seeds from it, like upwards of 700 a run. Only down side is you don't get any manyus, at least I haven't.

Also ?-3 is ridiculous with rng. I had all of my squads fight the boss with 1% hp cause they got stuck in the loop for so long lol.

In case people are interested my total power is ~100k and squads are 40k,24k,20k,15k and I did the clears with about 30k power helpers.

Farming it for sure. 700-900 gacha alone is worth it, decent xp and basic gifts are a plus.
