Huh, I guess they're doing it based on geographic/cultural significance? idk. It'd be more straightforward to just use the English names.

Many of the girls were named using Romaji (English counterpart), although a few were nippon-centric, probably because most Japanese are familiar with them (つばき、すみれ、もも、etc) The English words used were Amaryllis, Heliconia, Salvia, Royal Princess, Purple Tulip, Oncidium, and Yellow Pansy, to name a few of what I've personally summoned into my list.
