Future reference: Unless the SB happened to be within the last 1-2 hours of duration, that type of hit could get you kicked from some players FLs. SBs are rare and give a lot of equipment seeds to anyone who hits them, so most players prefer that as many players as possible get hits on them (plus they stay up for 24 hours instead of 2, so there's plenty of time for this to happen). There is no "Last Hit" bonus nor a "Most Damage" bonus, everyone who hits a RB, be it 1 damage or 1,000,000; gets the same amount of equipment seeds.
Given the new gacha maintenance, I'd understand if your preferences got reset (I've accidentally nuked bosses myself with my Team 1 instead of my usual 2* after a maintenance hits), but SBs are rare enough that they should make you double-check your team before you hit it.
