Though I am not completely sure if its worth to swap them. Having lvl 1 battle skill and 1 item slot does not feel like a good trade for slightly better stats (especially if the 3* are maxed on Battle skills and item slots and equipped with high tier mid level items.)

That's great news! I've been wanting Di Yu since the very beginning and Lilac as soon as she came out. Lilac has a great ability too, will be useful if we get another event full of whirlwind nodes.

So many promotions at the very same time? Wow, that was totally unexpected... and still is. I'm going to be pessimistic and think that it might be a "choose one" kind of promotion, which is really nice too. I hope i'm wrong since i'm missing Snowflake, Cepha, Safron Tulip and Lilac, so thats 4 out of 6 4* i'm missing.

Nowhere, for now. They will be release to some youtubers / bloggers / twitter / facedeck / etc at some point in the future for us to hunt down their posts and share.

Only annoying part about them: we still have to get them additional inventory slots and skill levels the expensive way. I really like Violetta Tulip, but she's nowhere near her potential yet.

That wouldn't bother me so much since Lilah is the only one I don't already have, but one of each of the girls would be nice..
