How do you get medals exactly? I've been grinding a lot (300+ stamina) and killing raid bosses, but only regular chests and equip gachas so far. Anyone else have different results?

The medals are the clear conditions of the map, not an actual item.

Are you talking about the same medals I'm thinking of? The ones awarded when you beat a stage? If so, you get one for clearing a map, a second one for killing all pests and a third one for killing all bosses (NOT raid bosses, regular bosses found in a map). If you get all three medals in one map, you'll have "completed" that map and will gain 1-2 flower gems and usually another reward. Once you 3-medal a map though, the medals stop mattering. You'll never have to worry about "killing all pests" on a map you've 3-medaled.

So in the current event, there will be 8 maps in total (4 available now, another 4 in phase 2). You can get 3 medals in each of those maps, for a total of 8x3 = 24 medals. And here you can check out the rewards: Special Mission: In the Glow of the Night

Some players wants PM's sent with the request, but you can read about it in the thread. A tip is to make a post there with your in game name for FKG so others know who is who, especially when other players sees the new pending thing in the allies tab and might want to know who that player is before adding.

You can just randomly search for the ID's people posted in their signature or in the Friend ID Thread.
Most will accept, maybe just give them a notification trough a private message on the forum, that you are not a random person.

On the other note, thanks to finally getting that last piercing unit so can have a perfect 5/5/5/5 Split with the Type in my Total Team. Just the final map likes to remind me that i just have 4 Piercing Types right. :/

But i really like the look of the maps with the night theme. The potential for Mid-Grade Seeds is also really nice, since some really high level players need that propably more than Manyu's. Wish they gave you the girl right away, so you could level it already. But anyway the event looks nice and ?-3 seems a good way to make me curse at RNGesus. XD

Edit: Propably won't farm the final mission for the Raid Boss, since i already need twice the raid points to slap every available one from my ally list. XD

I've started this game a few days back, and only have total power of ~140k T.T

I just managed to clear ?-4. All my units died except for one that barely survived. I managed to kill all bosses and all pests except for one pest which survived at around 5% (SO frustrating!).

My units had: 48366, 47995, 42466, 32834 and a helper with ~60000. If not for my dang 32834 unit not doing enough damage, I would have three medal'd the map. So I'd say somewhere around those numbers would be the minimum requirement for completing the map (probably less for clear only).

Edit: I followed the strategy posted in the original post, I had two units on the second tent, and three units on the third tent. This tactic should work as long as you haven't somehow angered the gods of RNG. If you have, do the same thing but pray harder, of course.
