umm....Both Christmas Rose and Apple&Ivy gacha were on Thursdays.

There hasn't been a set day for these deals. Sometimes it's Thursday, sometimes it's Friday, sometimes it's Tuesday, sometimes it's Saturday/Sunday. So you can stop this conversation now.

That said, why would you even want the New Year's "deal" back?

Lycoris and New Year's deals were on friday, as well as Black Friday was, so no thursday isnt always the day for a new gacha deal

Apple and Ivy's deal actually lasted a day longer until friday if I remember correctly

To speak of another thing, is there any point to get dupe of a maxed event girl? Can they be used for something in the furute or are they just useless dupe taking a precious place in the unit list?

I think they can be sold for materials in the future? But it's not a bad idea to have dupes of Lavender, Edelweiss, or Mountain Lily. Anyone else is your prerogative. If you want two Tachibanas yelling at each other in your garden, go for it.
