It's an impressive giveaway, but it should be pointed out that FGs on DMM don't have the same value as Nutaku: an 11-pull on DMM is 5000 FGs vs. 50 on Nutaku.

Not to detract in any way from the point though; it's pretty generous (the newest 6* girl is the one given for free along with a 6* ticket), but don't think you're going to do 11-pulls all day.

I see the 2 smaller 0's as more of a "cents" thing. It is still is "kind of" like 50 gems.

this week's Thursday deal, an excellent deal but Horse Chestnut is still not in the rainbow medal exchange shop.

Maybe no one said that DMM is bad (I have a dmm account myself), but as long as the gift of nu is better than dmm, those who are jealous will start attacking nu.

I ran the gacha one time, and grabbed Jersey Cudweed, since I want to experiment with a triple hit special squad sometime. I'm tempted to play a few more gachas for another 300 medals, so I can get Waterlily Bride when she gets added as well.
Another tempting investment would be Sensitive Plant, she becomes a totally OP asset once she gets her bloomed form, with her guaranteed weakness buff for herself and 2 other party members.

I don't think I completely understand what you're saying here, but you're right that no one is saying DMM is bad. I only pointed out the value difference between the two, though it would have been better if I'd instead said that the amounts and costs are different but still have the same value, because as Ampchan pointed out, all DMM did was just tack on two extra zeros to everything FG related. The valuation is still the same, strictly speaking.

The reason I even made a post about that is because when I saw that picture of thousands of FGs being given out, my first thought was "what the actual fuck?" and when I looked into it and discovered why those amounts seemed so ridiculous, I wanted to make sure that no one else here who doesn't play DMM had the same misunderstanding. Even so, it's an amazing giveaway, and the unregistered person was correct: if anyone is even remotely interested in DMM, now is the time to make an account.

This isn't a DMM vs Nutaku thing, just a clarification regarding the difference in the amounts of FGs between the two, at the end of the day DMM has always been quite generous with handing them out compared to Nutaku; just not as full-throttled insane as I initially thought when seeing the thousands of FGs being given out.

Dendrobium would be a very good second choice, but as much as I love her being the star of my alpha-strike squad, I wouldn't take her over Kerria.
