The Knights for both events are in the gacha too, including New Year's Fritters. It looks like the New Year's event has three sections and it lasts two weeks longer than the snowball one... but who knows if the game will still be online at that point.

I really feel for you man. You've been waiting for New Year Fritters for a while and it's in a priority gacha with 3 other golds instead of one. Still, if you have at least 250 Gems, it should be fine.
