EDIT2: I can't receive items anymore after getting some drops from the new sheets. Best guess is they're doing maintenance but forgot to turn off the game.

I guess they had to spend a day finding the right snapshot to use.
Incidentally, not being able to collect items is directly tied to the new equipment drops. If you have more than 20 items, and the 21st item is that equipment, you can collect 20 at a time as normal. Collecting one by one doesn't work.

its almost April so we should see some kind of report regarding the contract they've had with DMM and Yourgames
