Heh, of course they are. After all, how do you expect them to fund the continuous operation of this freemium game if not by profits from selling the premium currency and its benefits?
It is not like you need 6* girls to complete maps, and not like real money being only source of gems anyway.


And eventually there should be a promotion allowing one to straight up buy any one girl for collection, and another one giving one random 6* as one-year continuous login bonus, if Nutaku is to follow the formula of original, so you might want to not spend till then.)
