It's a rare spawn, it gives more seeds than the normal boss.

I've heard several theories about that one and when it spawns, but you getting it on 12-3 seems to debunk the one that it would only appear during the first few minutes after clearing a set of maps or when first completing an x-1 map.

The only time I spawned a seed bearer was the first time I cleared 12-1 though.

I spawned a 24-hour Seed Bearer off of the already heavily farmed 12-5 today. There's no special rule for spawning them, they're just really rare.

(I also booted one of my allies for nuking it.)

The only raid boss that matters in this game is the one called RNG.
