Basically, this ^ it was an exceptionally unprofessional move whomever requested the cancellation. As it has been mentioned, the jp version would have recieved our version of the brides eventually = not unique content for us. Would love to see them admit to the whole reason behind the backpeddle, as jp devs surely must have realised they would get the brides we voted for eventually?

But is it possible that we will still get the DMM-brides later?

We don't know the full terms of their initial agreement, but reaction of Nutaku devs representative on Discord at the start of the event indicated it was our brides were to be unique to us.
I still blame BB. Her BBs simply scared JP devs away XD That and prospect of hiring her illustrator again, as I heard he is notoriously difficult to contract...
