Follow the spam guide for the event - Just keep spamming the first/2nd mission (there is exact amount of tickets written on the previous pages) and even with new weak team you can easily get the 2K needed for a fully upgraded 5* that will help you in the future events.
Two events like this, after each other, are very good for new players, as it allows them to get some solid 5* units without the need to have a strong team. All that is required is patience to grind away at the event and at the end you get units that once leveled up will help you a lot in the future. Good for you guys, keep at it and bash out those tickets

Basically what I have been doing. It's better to do 15 stamina. Have more tries if you don't get special Garden.

And I'm still having trouble with 12-5. The thing I can do only rely on helper. 2 Boss in one fight is still far away achievement for me.

At my current level and girls, it's also hard to get more than 4 Gems in one event.

Work on getting at least one girl to the level cap.

A helper with capped 5*/6* girls should be able to solo that map.

Whee. Hit 2k. Now I guess its time to actually play the rest of the game.

Not that ten more stamina is that huge a deal, but getting to 3999 papers is one of those 'aw, damn it' moments.

Finally got 2k. Now back to level capping and evolve progress.

People running the first and second missions? Sheesh. I can't be arsed with that and just run the 80 stamina one. Somewhat above 3,2k now and not really interested in getting more since that's all the interesting rewards. Manyu daily, ho!

Finally made it to 4k a few hours ago.

The only reason i spammed last maps since start is life gems. %2 increased skill chance might not be much but if i feed them to alpinia then things get interesting currently im working on gold skillblooms. (left 250 to 4k btw)

I was done 2 days ago for the event and did a few more runs for life crystals, kinda bummed out with my 10+1 roll on the limited so im getting lazy running 12-5. Im just running gift missions just to deplete my stamina now and scrape my other girls for flower gems.
